For almost a year, I've been working with Beauty For Real, a small cosmetics company local to Miami. Working for a small company has its perks--which include gaining a sense of family and having the opportunity to learn multiple facets of copywriting. My experience writing for Beauty For Real also includes editing press releases and website copy, and composing product sheets and brochures.

We were extremely excited to launch our three new I-Line colors, and I knew I wanted to create copy that would excite our customers, too. These colors are bold and hot, so I wrote content that exudes strength and daring.
I believe make-up is art--it's a way to express yourself. So in order to bring all of our I-line colors together, I created content for this mailer that would make customers feel connected to their make-up, inspiring them to express themselves.

Social Media and e-mail communications are fun because my writing can be powerful and brief. Sometimes I can flirty, sometimes I can be bold, and sometimes I can be both. But, I love me some good prose.

We decided as team to create balance in our
social media campaigns. There were times where I could be flirty and witty, but there were also times where I wanted to be empowering. Our clientele is mostly women, so it was important for me to reach different depths in my copy so we could appeal to the courageous and confident side of women, but also the fun-loving side.
